Addition 1

Type of Addition: No Action
Overview: Thank you for bidding on the Adelanto Elementary School District Wired Assurance and Switch Monitoring RFP 24/25-ADE-04. Unfortunately due to unforeseen time constraints on the Districts end we were unable to evaluate proposals and submit for Board approval so we could meet the March 27, 2024 certification deadline with USAC. So, at this time we are unable to make an award and we will be going out to bid again for the next year.
Question 1
Posted: 2/17/2024
Question: Are the SKUs requested already implemented within the school district? Is vendor responsible for migrating the switching to this licensing? Question #1 on page 8 states "The vendor must be able to guarantee network availability at least 99.5% of the time and packet delivery of 99.5% or greater, except for outages caused by fiber cuts by third parties, acts of God, or other Force Majeure events." Does this refer to an internet circuit provider and not correlate to this bid? Can you please clarify? The RFP states the transition plan which also seems to refer to category 1. Can you please clarify if this should be ignored?
Response: The SKU's are already implemented and any change in licensing will need to be supported. The Category 1 transition stuff can be ignored and the 99% uptime can as well since this is a management license
