Question: Are vendors being asked to provide hourly rates in section 6.1 for the entire general scope outlined in Section 5.4 without breaking the scope into work segments. Please advise. In Minimum Requirements section: Item 3 - Are Lee College officers and others only to be named on insurance after a Vendor is awarded the contract? Item 7 - Are Performance and Payment Bonds only to be provided if Vendor is awarded contract? Item 7 - Are performance and payment bonds both have to be written by a surety bond company for the full contract amount? Iem 8 - Carrying pollution and professional liability for 5 years after the contract - please explain. Item 12 - Are these items only to be supplied if a Vendor is awarded the Contract? Item 13 - Is proof of Workers Comp only required if Vendor is awarded the contract? What are the Lee College Insurance limits for this type of work scope with regards to general liability, professional liability, pollution liability and others that be implied in the RFP but not specifically spelled out? Response: 1. Are vendors being asked to provide hourly rates in section 6.1 for the entire general scope outlined in Section 5.4 without breaking the scope into work segments. Please advise. Hourly rates are accepted. Section 6 Pricing Schedule may be completed if applicable. An additional price sheet/catalog can be submitted by the vendor. Pricing may be determined by the vendor at request for quote. 2. Lee College requires a current certificate of insurance on file for all companies prior to performing work on our campus. The certificate of insurance should be on an official Accord form with Lee College listed as a certificate Holder as follows: Lee College P.O. Box 818 Baytown, TX 77522-0818 o Item 7 - Are Performance and Payment Bonds only to be provided if Vendor is awarded contract? Yes. o Item 7 - Are performance and payment bonds both have to be written by a surety bond company for the full contract amount? Yes. o Item 8 - Carrying pollution and professional liability for 5 years after the contract - please explain. If applicable to the type of work in a contract, the Vendor may be required to provide proof of these coverages up to 5 years later in the event that there is a latent issue that becomes evident during that time after work is completed. o Item 12 - Are these items only to be supplied if a Vendor is awarded the Contract? That is correct. o Item 13 - Is proof of Workers Comp only required if Vendor is awarded the contract? Yes. 3. Question: In Section 3 Proposal Submission Procedures, it states: "An original OR digital signature by an authorized officer of Proposer must appear on the Execution of Offer (ref. APPENDIX A) of the submitted Proposal." But, in parentheses next to the signature spot on Appendix A it states: "Failure to manually sign will disqualify bid." Will a digital signature meet the "manual" requirements? In other words, can we use digital signatures throughout the response, as suggested in Section 3, or is a original/physical signature required on Appendix A?

Response: Thank you for your question. An original or digital signature by an authorized officer of Proposer will meet the requirements for this proposal.
