Description: The City of Carlsbad, New Mexico is soliciting qualification and experience information to be used in selecting a principal consultant to provide planning and/or engineering services for the following projects at Cavern City Air Terminal Airport. - Design Runway 14R-32L Rehabilitation/Reconstruction - Construct Runway 14R-32L Rehabilitation/Reconstruction - Design & Construct Taxiway C Rehabilitation - Design & Environment Runway Safety Area Improvements on Runway 3-21 - Construct Runway Safety Area Improvements on Runway 3-21 (Phase 1) - Acquire Property Interests Associated with Runway 3-21 Extension (31.6 Acres) - Design and Environment Realign Portion of Taxiway B at Intersection of 8-26 and 14L-32R - Construct Safety Area Improvements on Runway 3-21 (Phase 2) - Construct Realign Portion of Taxiway B at Intersection of Runway 8-26 and 14L-32R - Upgrade MIRL on Runway on 3-21 - Implement PAPI-4 on Runway 3 and REILs on Runway 21 - Design and Construct Runway3-21 Rehabilitation (Surface Seal) - New Terminal Building Construction (including parking improvements) - New Lights on 3-21 and Electrical Improvements - Electrical Improvements to all Airport Runways - Security Camera Upgrades The above-contemplated projects are dependent upon federal AIP funding and State Aviation funding and approval of Sponsor, so it shall be understood that some of the services related to the above-listed projects may be deleted and that the Sponsor reserves the right to initiate additional services not included in the initial procurement. Any project not listed above will not be eligible for federal AIP funding. Services, as outlined in FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14C to AC150/5100-14D Chapter One, include engineering and/or planning services for all phases and required incidental services for some or all of the above projects which may be multiple FAA and/or NMDOT - Aviation Division grants funded within four years of consultant's contract. The term for the proposed services will be for one (1) year with an option to renew for up to three (3) consecutive years.
