Description:
The Franklin County School District, Facilities Department, will receive and consider qualifications from prospective Architectural Firms for construction expansion projects. The Architect will provide the project scope, design and specification documents for the project(s). The Architect will work with FCSD staff and the selected Construction Manager to complete the program and work on the construction phasing.
The Franklin K-12 School expansion project is multiple phases.
• Phase I is a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Welding Building which will be approximately 6,300 sq. ft. in size and located on the current K12 Franklin County School Campus at 1250 US Highway 98, Eastpoint, FL 32328. The estimated budget for Phase I of the project is $1,978,722. The project completion date is July 31, 2021.
• Phase II is anticipated for a Transportation Facility.
• Phase III is anticipated to include a CTE Culinary Arts Facility.
• Phase IV is to be determined.

1. Is the District looking for a team (Architect, MEP Engineer, Structural, Civil etc.) or should an architect just submit on their own merit? Its not clear in the RFQ and it doesn’t mention sub-consultants anywhere.
This RFQ is for services provided by an Architectural Firm, no subcontractors are included.

1. On Page 6, Section 2.1/G it references that "responses should respond to each item noted in 2.0 A. Is 2.0 A referencing what is in 2.3 A (page 7)?
The numbering has been corrected. Please see Addendum #2. Section 2.1 G now refers to 2.2 A.
2. Is there a minimum/maximum number of Performance Reference Survey forms that should be submitted by each firm? Should the survey be filled out prior to submission of the RFQ?
A minimum of three (3) surveys should be received by FCSD no later than the bid deadline. The surveys should be sent directly from the firms reference via fax (850) 670-8579 or email to Floyd Roberts (froberts@franklincountyschools.org).
