Question: The RFP states "All proposals must include a detailed plan for replacing the chiller and boiler at the Darlington County Government Building. Proposals should outline all costs associated with labor, equipment, materials, permits, fees, and the start-up and commissioning of the new equipment. Is it the desire of the Owner to have Engineering Firms submit Statement of Qualifications for the design of replacing the Chiller and boiler, so the project will bid? Or, the Owner is seeking qualified Contractors/equipment vendors to replace the equipment in kind? Thank you!
Response: We have requested qualifications from engineering firms to determine the best route for replacement.
