Question: Will there be a project labor /project stabilization agreement associated with any aspect of this contract to include drilling and use of drilling sub contractors who will be required to be signatory to the union?

Response: The District's 2009 Project Labor Agreement may apply to some projects that are awarded to consultants selected for the pool pursuant to this RFQ. In such cases, the project solicitation and contract will specify application of the PLA.

Question 2

Posted: 2/15/2022

Question: Can you please confirm the time of the pre-proposal meeting? It is cited as 10:00AM in several instances, but table on page 3 of the RFQ said 9:00AM.

Response: The Pre-Bid meeting is at 10:00 am.

Question 3

Question: On Page 12 of the RFQ, Section C, it states that each response must include "evidence that the GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING company is legally permitted and properly licensed for the scope of work for which the SOQ is submitted and to conduct business in the State of California”. Will the District please identify what type of "Licenses" that are requested to be provided? Typically, our engineers have their licenses and the company has business licenses with the State and municipalities. Please clarify what licenses are requested in this section.

Response: Each firm is required to hold a business license allowing such firm to legally conduct business in the State of California and requires Individuals providing the service to hold the appropriate engineering licenses.
