Pre-Bid Meeting Details: MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING - A mandatory Pre-Proposal meeting is required. Only those proposers who attend the pre-proposal meeting at 9:00 a.m. (EST) at Antioch Elementary School, 1819 Riverbend Road, Dalton, GA 30721 on August 27, 2024, shall be eligible for submission of a proposal. MANDATORY TOUR OF FACILITIES – A mandatory Pre-Proposal tour of facilities is required. It shall be the sole responsibility of the proposer to visit each facility to acquaint itself with the nature and extent of the work involved. Site visits shall start immediately after the Pre-Proposal meeting on August 27, 2024, and shall leave from Antioch Elementary School, 1819 Riverbend Road, Dalton, GA 30721. Transportation to all sites shall be up to the proposer. The district shall have representatives to conduct tours and answer questions. Tours are mandatory for proposers. **Vendors arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to participate. **

Question: Would like to confirm the $10,000,000 umbrella for this Bid. This seems excessive for screen and recoats and want to confirm amount is correct.
Response: That amount of insurance is normal and customary for all of the ITBs and RFPs that we publish.
