Description: Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Upper Flint / Lake Mirror Stormwater Improvements Phase I will be received by the Clayton County Water Authority at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 until 2:00 p.m. local time, the 2nd day of December, 2014, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the specified time will not be considered. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Clayton County Water Authority, 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 on November 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. local time, to discuss the Project. A site visit is mandatory. Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference, however attendance is not mandatory. A bid submitted by a Bidder who did not visit the site while being escorted by the Owner’s staff will not be opened. The Project generally consists of 700 feet of 60-inch and 20 feet of 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer, including 7 precast concrete drainage structures, pavement removal and replacement, and erosion and sedimentation control. Prices include sales tax and two-day shipping. Return of the documents is not required.
