Description: The purpose of this Solicitation is to establish a source or sources for the School
Food Authority (SFA) referenced herein to purchase perishable and non-perishable food and supplies for the
operation of USDA Child Nutrition Programs. These programs include, but are not limited to the National
School Lunch Program and its related initiatives for lunch, breakfast, afterschool snacks, supper, and summer
feeding activities to include Seamless Summer Option (SSO) and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), as
well as the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.
