Description: Pursuant to Sections 41-16-50 through 41-16-63, Code of Alabama 1975, as amended, sealed bids for 12 or more Night Vision Binocular Goggles with Dual Unfilmed White Phosphorus Tubes and L3 Tubes (No batteries) - Bid No. 024-017, will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 2, 2024, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at the above referenced address for the following item(s):


12 or More Night Vision Binocular Goggles with Dual Unfilmed White Phosphorus Tubes and L3 Tubes (No batteries).

These specifications describe night vision binocular goggles that are dual white phosphorus tubes with 2000 Minimum FOM and have L3 Tubes (No batteries). The night vision goggles and service contracts shall meet all of the minimum and specific requirements.

All equipment furnished under this contract shall be the same as the manufacturer’s current production model. Accessories not specifically mentioned herein, but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use, shall also be included. Units shall conform to the best practice known in design, quality of material and workmanship.  

The City reserves the right to award this bid on all or none basis, or item by item basis, to waive any informality in bids, and also the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be awarded based on delivery date as well as cost.

If your company employs persons in the State of Alabama, you must provide the City of Prattville with documentation that your company is enrolled in the E-Verify program along with submission of bid.
 
Each sealed bid envelope must include two (2) originals of Bid Invitation, including Bid Specifications, and show the Bid Invitation Number, Date/Time of Bid Opening, and Company’s Name and Address on the outside of the envelope. If available, bidders are requested to include an electronic copy in Adobe PDF format. Enclose a signed and completed W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number & Certification with bid response.

All bids and proposals SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, Bidder’s license number, license expiration date, category, address and name of the project. Envelopes containing bids and proposals must be addressed as follows, and delivered to:
