Description: During emergency events requiring evacuation, Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (County) Department of Emergency Services / Emergency Management Division (“EM Division”), in close coordination with the Florida Department of Health – Indian River County (“FDOH”) oversee the designated Persons with Special Needs (“PSN”) shelter, typically located at Treasure Coast Elementary (8955 85th Street, Sebastian, FL 32958).

Critical Response Strategies, LLC is under contract to provide medical staffing services during activation of the PSN shelter, providing teams with two nurses, six certified nursing assistants or home health aides, and one respiratory therapist.

The EM Division is soliciting proposals from a single Provider for both the services of a respiratory therapist (“RT”) to be a dedicated part of the County’s PSN team, and medical supplies for setup at the PSN shelter.

The term of the agreement will be three years, with three one-year extensions available.
