Description:
The City of Framingham (CITY), acting through the Framingham
Conservation Commission, invites bids from qualified individuals or lake
management firms to provide Nuisance Aquatic Vegetation Management Services
within a 1.2 linear mile section of the Sudbury River through the Saxonville
neighborhood of Framingham , Massachusetts (“the target area”) and requires all
work necessary or proper for or incidental to this purpose including providing
all necessary supervisors, personnel, equipment and materials. The target area
is defined by the Fenwick Street Dam to the southwest and the Saxonville Dam in
the northeast. The impounded target area
of the Sudbury River has an average depth of 3 to 4 feet and a maximum depth of
15 feet. The surface area of the target
area is approximately 38 acres. Aquatic
Vegetation Management services will be in areas as directed and required by the
City. The City is issuing this
Invitation for Bid (“IFB”) to solicit responses from qualified Bidders who can
meet the project requirements.
