(Will paper payments come into client for deposit or will vendor deposit payments on behalf of client?) 2. Are credit card payments allowed? If yes, who will be responsible for the credit card transaction fees? 3. Who is the county’s current billing vendor? 4.Would the vendor be required to include cellular data plans for each of the 28 Panasonic ToughBooks?

Response: 1. What is your desired banking and remittance process? (Will paper payments come into client for deposit or will vendor deposit payments on behalf of client?) Most payments will go through our lockbox in the form of ACH deposits. Remits are obtained by the billing company through their clearinghouse and provided to us for verification of AHC deposit However, we have some insurance companies that send Virtual Credit Card Payments and checks directly to Beaufort County EMS. Those payments are deposited into the Wells Fargo Bank and supporting documentation is sent to our billing company for posting to accounts. 2. Are credit card payments allowed? If yes, who will be responsible for the credit card transaction fees? Credit Card payments are allowed and the billing company pays the processing fees as a service to us. 3. Who is the county’s current billing vendor? EMS Management & Consultants, Inc. 4.Would the vendor be required to include cellular data plans for each of the 28 Panasonic ToughBooks? No
