Description: Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Murfreesboro, City Manager’s Office, City Hall, 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee until 3:00 p.m., CST on Friday, May 11, 2018, for the construction of Old Fort Park Maintenance Building at 1025 Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37130 (approximately 7,000sf) and McKnight Park Maintenance Building at 120 DeJarnette Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 (approximately 5,000sf). The work includes the following elements:  This work includes demolition, earthwork, all site utilities, paving, landscaping, site lighting, landscaping, building structure, enclosure, finishes and other related work as shown on the construction drawings dated 1221-17 and specifications dated 12-21-17 by Regan Smith Engineers and H. Michael Hindman Architects, P.C. To demonstrate Bidder’s qualifications to perform the work, Bidder shall submit written information on present commitments and on experience.  Regarding experience, submit listing of at least three (3) similar projects constructed by the Bidder within the last five (5) years.  The list should include project name, project owner, and project owner’s contact and shall be submitted with bid package. Bidders should also include a construction schedule indicating the start and finish dates for each building.  Note that these two buildings should commence simultaneously. There will be no pre-bid conference, however bidders may submit clarification questions to the City’s program manager, Bob Kiger at bob.kiger@sevalus.com by no later than 12 noon, Friday May 4, 2018.
