CITY OF PARKLAND, FLORIDA
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 

 The City of Parkland, Florida is currently requesting proposals from qualified companies to provide for the:
                                            Library Expansion Project RFQ # 2017-09
The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain competitive proposals to hire the most qualified architectural firm to provide professional services to design a functional and effective expansion to the existing City Library facility located at the Municipal Complex, 6620 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067 with a strong emphasis on efficient space utilization and effective site aesthetics.

Sealed proposals shall be received by the Office of the City Clerk, at Sal Pagliara City Hall, 6600 University Drive, Parkland, Florida 33067, on or before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14th, 2017, at which time and place proposals will be publicly opened.  Proposals received after that time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Offeror. 

A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for January 10th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 6600 University Drive, Parkland, FL 33067, Parkland, FL.  All Proposers planning to submit a proposal are required to attend this meeting.  Proposers should allow sufficient time to insure arrival prior to the indicated time.  Proposals from those who have failed to attend the mandatory pre-proposal conference will not be opened.
