ACT ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Project Description: The project is located on Andy Devine Avenue beginning at 4^th Street and continuing approximately 2,830 linear feet west to Grandview Avenue.  The work generally consists of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) roadway improvements including removal of existing pavement, driveways, sidewalks and other existing improvements and reconstructing the public access portion of the roadway with new asphalt pavement, sidewalks, driveways, ramps, drainage, landscaping, handrails and other improvements to improve public access facilities to meet ADA compliance.  

Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by an Unconditional Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for not less than Ten Percent of the total bid, payable to the City of Kingman, Arizona.

The City of Kingman has been awarded Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds through the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and will accept sealed Bids from qualified firms at the office of the City Clerk at 310 North Fourth Street, Kingman, AZ 86401, until 3:00 PM Local Time on October 9, 2019 (Wednesday).  Bids will be opened and read aloud.  Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened.

Work shall be completed within 165 calendar days, beginning with the day following the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed.

The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informality in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Kingman.

The City will conduct a Pre-Bid Conference at 220 North Fourth Street in the Engineering Department Conference Room, Kingman Arizona on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 beginning at 1:30 p.m. local time.  Bidder’s attendance is not required but encourage.
