Description: The Moreno Street Stormwater Pond and Sidewalk Improvements project includes the construction of stormwater pond intended to help alleviate flooding at a low area north of Moreno Street between Q and R Streets. Presently, an existing drainage system terminates in this area with no developed outfall. New stormwater piping and inlets will be constructed upstream of the pond to help facilitate drainage into the pond. The pond will be constructed with a sand chimney and EGRP “Straws” to facilitate recovery.
The project also includes the construction of a sidewalk around the block made up of ‘Q’ and ‘R’ Streets to the east and west and Mallory and Moreno Streets to the north and south.
