Also include expense to apply Roundup or other systemic herbicide to the fence areas with a maximum spray area of 6” (six inches) to either side of fence. The town will not supply herbicide. If Round-Up is used, contractor must show proof of appropriate certifications. LL Burns Park – “Per mowing” price should include the mowing areas listed in green on the accompanying map. The plateau area that includes the soccer field should be mowed on a weekly basis along with the outdoor classroom area and a mowed trail around the back meadow. Use of herbicide is allowed in Burns Park at the discretion of the Parks Director. Please note: trails are shown as heavy double black line on the Burns Park map. Also note, definition of ‘natural areas’ include access to the river for fishing or viewing as designated by the Parks Director. Sewer Plant – “Per mowing” price should include the all grass areas shown in green on the attached map. A bid should include expense of spraying fence areas with systemic herbicide. The town will not supply herbicide for this process. Note: herbicide spraying is optional. Fences may be trimmed with a weed-eater if preferred. If Round-Up is used, contractor must show proof of certification. Disc golf course – “Per mowing” prices should include the fairways of the town’s new 9 hole disc golf course. Previous contracts and per mowing prices did not include this feature. Please see the disc gold insert.
