Description: Notice is hereby given that Okeechobee County, Florida, pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, hereby issues this Request for Proposals for Disaster Recovery Consultant Services.
Okeechobee County is seeking a professional consultant(s) or consulting firm(s) to provide expertise to augment our capabilities to receive the maximum recovery funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) and State of Florida. The ideal Consultant(s) shall possess demonstrated experience in programmatic disaster recovery and must have intimate knowledge and expertise in the operations of the FEMA Public Assistance Program including hazard mitigation. It is expected this Request for Proposal may result in on-demand contracts to meet the need for timely disaster specific services.
