Question: There are some items between the project manual and the plans that I would like clarification: - Manual calls for wood framing under carpentry, however the plans call metal studs. - Manual calls for Building Permit Fees Excluded but plans say GC responsible. - Fire sprinkler is excluded in manual but plans call for new sprinkler heads and drawings per subcontractor.

Response: • The plan was permitted with metal studs. Metal stud framing will be required. • Contractor will be responsible for permit fees. • A sprinkler system is be required. It was not included in the plans because it will need to be a separate permit obtained by the contractor’s subcontractor. A plan will need to be submitted to codes for approval.

Question: On sheet A101 - the wall types call out for 18 GA metal studs, however on sheet A501 the call out is for 24 GA metal studs with 18 GA in the corners only, please clarify what GA metal studs are to be used?

Response: 18 Ga. Metal studs are to be used.
