Question 1

Posted: 2/24/2021

Question: Are the Equipment Specification Cut Sheets the only technical specs for this project? Has this equipment been pre-purchased? I'm trying to determine what is needed - simplex? duplex? What is the required flow for the pump?

Response: - Are the Equipment Specification Cut Sheets the only technical specs for this project? Yes, the specifications provided are for a direct replacement of the sewer pump, lift station and electrical control panel. - Has this equipment been pre-purchased? No, the project was previously assessed by the investigating vendor but nothing was purchased. - I'm trying to determine what is needed - simplex? duplex? 2 simplex pumps (one with the float set to primary level and the second set to overflow level incase pump 1 goes out) - What is the required flow for the pump? The flow rate is to be determined by fixture unit quantity, rise, and discharge pipe length. Here is an equivalent sewer pump from Gould (model # WS2034D4) with the flow rate noted below. • HP2 • Rated Voltage460V AC • Phase - Pumps3 • Amps5.80 • Motor Type3-Phase • Body MaterialCast Iron • Impeller MaterialCast Iron • Shaft Seal Material - PumpsSilicone Carbide • Switch ActuationNo Switch Included • Switch Electrical ConnectionNo Switch Included • On PointN/A • Off PointN/A • Flow Rate @ 15 Ft. of Head375.0 gpm
