Description: Okaloosa County is seeking bids to construct 2 ballfields and install drainage enhancements around the
concessions stand and other site amenities at Shalimar Park. Construction documents and specifications
provided by the County and prepared by Halff are attached as Exhibit “A”. All bidders must be licensed and
insured per County standards.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The scope of work consists of the following items and are provided on the bid sheet attached:
• Site Work/Demolition/Utilizes
• Stormwater/Drainage
• Baseball/Softball Fields-Field 1-Little League, Field 2-Tee-Ball
• Common Area Site Improvements
The bidder should provide line-item pricing and a total project cost.

Question: Please confirm the following discussed at the pre-bid meeting today. There will be no requirement for any security lighting on the project. There will b no requirement for power or lighting in the dug outs. There will be no requirement for power in the relocated batting cage. There is not requirement for power at the pitching mounds. There will be no requirement for lighting at the scoring stands. (One GFCI outlet and one communication connection will be required.) Thanks

Question: The conductors on the drawing have been sized. Are these correct and has voltage drop been considered? Can aluminum conductors be used instead of copper for all feeders and branch circuits? Sheet L-101 shows the pole detail and shows a lightning rod at the top. Are the poles set up for this option and does the county have the rods required? What is the support structure made of that hold the panel and the contactors? It appears to be channel but is it standard zinc, galvanized, aluminum or something else? Are the posts treated wood or possibly rigid conduit? What is the fault current rating needed for panel LP-F? Is LP-F a load center center (snap in breakers) or a true panel board (bolt in breakers)?

Question: On the electrical drawings sheets L-100 and L-101 shows all unground conduits as schedule 40 PVC (Typ.) however on sheet L-002 note 6 a. states all 120 and 277V circuits shall be schedule 80 PVC. Please clarify that that schedule 40 is approved for all underground electrical conduits. Maybe the schedule 80 is for all risers above grade subject to physical damage? Please clarify where each is to be used.
