Description:

Sealed bids for the Runway 5-23 Lighting System Replacement project at the Lake City Gateway Airport will be received at the Procurement Department, City Hall, 205 N. Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32055 until 11:00 AM, EDT, on Thursday, July 16, 2020 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud.  An original and one copy, BOTH CLEARLY MARKED ITB-021-2020 shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. The project includes new LED edge lighting system along Runway 5-23, Taxiway E & D and Taxiway A1.  Installation and equipment include new lights (cans and fixtures), directional boring, conduit, airfield cable, counterpoise, junction cans and constant current regulator. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of the General Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid, Agreement and Contract Drawings, will be available on Monday, June 8, 2020 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab  and from the following sources: Plan Room of Construction Bulletin/Construction Journal, Jacksonville, FL;  Mid-State Builders Exchange, Ocala, FL; Dodge Data & Analytics, Jacksonville, FL; Builders Exchange Plan Rooms, Daytona & Tampa, FL; ConstructConnect - Pelham, AL, Norcross, GA, and all of FL. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Lake City Gateway Airport, 3524 E.
