Question 1

Posted: 11/5/2020

Question: The last 10 rows of Page 25 request Merv 13 poly for various sizes. The highest rated High loft polyester is currently a Merv 10 under the most recent ASHRAE standards. Since this filter has not yet been developed, should a Merv 13 pleated filter be quoted? Also, is the price agreement available to other state entities for the opportunity to "piggyback" the contract?

Response: Change the description on Page 25 of the last ten items on pricing to read: Merv 13 Page 13, Paragraph does allow for procurement under existing contract: 17. Procurement Under Existing Contracts: In accordance with NMSA 13-1-129, bidders are hereby notified that other governmental entities within the State of New Mexico, or as otherwise allowed by their respective governing directives, may contract for services with the awarded bidder(s). Contractual engagements accomplished under this provision shall be solely between the awarded proposer and the contracting entity with obligation by Rio Rancho Public Schools.
