Description: I would like to invite you all to the City of Clarksville's 3rd Annual Reverse Vendor Fair. This is a free event for all vendors and an opportunity for you to meet key personnel in every city department. The event will take place on October 17, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Clarksville, TN. I have attached a flyer for your information.

You may ask what a Reverse Vendor Fair is. It's an event where each city department has a booth and all vendors will go from booth to booth to meet employees within each department that play a key role in the procurement of goods and services. Instead of the vendors setting up booths, the city departments set up booths. Not only are you able to network with the city, but you have an opportunity to network with other vendors.

We will have two food trucks on site selling their offerings. And while we are on the subject, if you are a caterer or have a food truck, we can tell you how you can sell your food at city events and at city owned facilities.

We have over 20 departments that will be set up and ready to meet you all. Departments such as the Street Department which also is responsible for the Riverview Cemetery, Buildings and Facility Maintenance which is also responsible for parking and forestry, Neighborhood and Community Services which provides funding for families to repair or rebuild their homes, Parks and Recreations which is also responsible for the two city owned golf courses, the Police Department, Fire Rescue and Transit, just to name a few. You are not only networking to do business with the city, but also with the employees personally. The possibilities are endless.

Remember, there is no charge to come to this event and registration is not required. All we ask is that you bring as many employees from your company, a stash of business cards and some good walking shoes!
