General Notice

Grant County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Jet-A Fuel Storage, Bulk Loading System and Facility Improvements (Re-Bid)

Bid No. B-22-05

Bids for the construction of the Grant County-Silver City Airport Fuel System Upgraded, Phase 1 Project will be received at the Grant County Purchasing/Manager’s Office located at the office of Grant County, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061, until November 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Construction of concrete containment pad around the two existing fuel storage tanks, construction of a truck fuel loading and unloading containment pad, construction of a secondary containment basin with discharge pump, construction of a stormwater retention basin, construction of UG containment piping, modifications to the two fuel tank loading/unloading hard piping, connections and spill boxes, construction of asphalt paving, construction of security fence and gates including motor operated gates, provision of temporary truck loading and unloading containment basin, demolition of existing fence, asphalt pavement – including pavement under the two existing fuel tanks, and other work to complete the project.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Grant County-Silver City Airport Jet-A Fuel Storage, Bulk Loading System and Facility Improvements (Re-Bid)/Bid No. B-22-05.

The Project has an expected duration of 180 calendar days from Notice of Award.

1.      DOWNLOAD THE BIDDING DOCUMENTS FROM THE BHI TRACKER: The bidding documents are available during the bidding phase from the TRACKER PORTAL tab under the BIDS section.

2.      PLEASE SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS THROUGH THE BHI TRACKER: To submit a question, go to the BIDDING tab and click on SUBMIT QUESTION. This will direct you to a form to enter the question, when complete click SUBMIT and the question will be sent to BHI for review. Responses to questions will be included in the Addenda section (under the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS tab) and bidders will be notified via email when this information is available.

3.      The bidders list is provided in the BIDDERS LIST tab.

Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on November 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Grant County-Silver City Airport 188 Airport Road, Hurley, NM 88043. Written questions are encouraged. All questions received prior to the deadline of 12:00 pm November 10,, 2021 will be answered via addendum and distributed to all plan holders.
