Description: Sealed proposals will be received by the Randolph County Purchasing Officer, Lisa Garner, until 2:00 pm on
Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Randolph County Office Building, Meeting Room B (First Floor), 725 McDowell
St, Asheboro, NC for the construction of the Bush Creek Pedestrian Bridge at which time and place bids will be
opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work: The construction of a pedestrian bridge which will extend over Bush
Creek, west of Franklinville, serving as a link along the Deep River State Trail. The bridge structure is 150
feet in length (2 spans of 75 feet each) with a 10-foot clear width and 12-foot overall structure width
supported by reinforced concrete end bent and bent caps with steel pile foundations.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Contractors interested in bidding as prime bidders are encouraged to attend the open pre-bid meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm, at Randolph County Office Building, Meeting Room B (First Floor), 725 McDowell St, Asheboro, NC. Following the pre-bid meeting, a site visit will be provided to anyone interested in seeing the bridge site and site access.
