Current number of inmate telephones installed? Are these wall-mounted? 12, Yes they are wall mounted.
Current rate per minute charged for phone calls? See attachment.
Current number of video visitation kiosks in service today, or if not in service today, desired quantity? Are these wall-mounted? 13, Yes they are wall mounted.
Breakdown of the number of pods and the inmate capacity of each? 1 POD of 8, 4 PODs of 22, & 1 POD of 36.
Name of current phone, tablet and video visitation vendor? City Telecoin
Current commission percentage paid? See attachment.
Please confirm the Average Daily Inmate Population of the detention facility? 90
If possible, Provide a report summarizing the historical phone usage (calls, minutes, revenue) over the past 12 months? See attachment.
Which commissary company does the Sheriff's Office currently contract with, if any? Swanson
Do you currently provide inmates with tablets? If so, how many tablets are in service? No
What is the desired quantity of inmate tablets needed for the go-live date? At least 125.
Desired contract term length? Minimum of 5 years with renewal options, if proposed other terms will be reviewed as to their benefit to Johnson County.
Do you plan to hold a pre-bid conference or walk-through for vendors? If so, please provide the schedule and information? Overview: Question: Is the walk-through mandatory?
The walk-through is not mandatory, but is suggested if you have not been to this facility in the past. Understanding of the Scope of this project is an evaluation factor. A site visit during this scheduled walk-through time may help you understand the building & staff dynamics and structure for an effective proposal submission and ultimately forward thinking of eventual fulfillment of contractual obligations & installation needs for after an award is made.
