Question: I am a DBE, WBE of a Trucking Company here in Beaufort. I am very interesting in being a part of this project. I am registered as a vendor with Beaufort County. There are several SMBs in Beaufort. How are they selected if 100% of the work will not be performed the contractor? Will I received notification who/when the bid has been awarded?
Response: To all subcontractors: We will place the sign-in sheet on vendor registry so you may contact the prime contractors for this project. The prime contractor submitting the bid selects their sub-contractors. You may check the County website for the award information once it is posted. County staff will bring this contract award recommendation to committee and County Council. Please look at the County Website for the August or September Public Facilities Committee meeting schedule and look at the agenda items that may apply. Respectfully, Dave David (Dave) L.
