Description:

• Torrance Unified School District is requesting sealed bids from B-General or C13-Fencing licensed contractors to remove/replace metal guardrails and repair concrete curbs on the Annex Building ramp at Torrance High School.  Bids shall be all-inclusive, including all materials travel, reproduction, administrative, sub-consultants, sub-contracting, and any and all other overhead costs.

• A mandatory job walk will be conducted on Wednesday, 04/08/20 at 9:00 am.  Bidders are to meet in front of the Administration Building at Torrance High School - 2200 Carson Street, Torrance, CA 90501.  See school map.      

•  Prequalification As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 20111.5, prospective bidders are required to submit prequalification documents, which will be the basis for determining bidders that are qualified to bid on this Project. To prequalify you must submit a complete prequalification package through PQBids website: https://pqbids.com/Torrance-usd/ no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: The District will conduct a MANDATORY job walk on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 08, 2020 at 9:00 AM. All parties will meet at the front of the Administration Building at Torrance High School, 2200 West Carson Street, Torrance CA 90501. All attendees must have a valid California identification and may be screened before entering the campus. Contractor bidding on the Project who fails to attend the entire mandatory job walk and conference will be deemed a non-responsive bidder and their bid will be rejected.
