Description: The City of Belle Meade, Tennessee is soliciting sealed bids for residential solid waste, trash and recycle collection within the corporate limits of the City.  Belle Meade has a population of approximately 3,000 residents, 32 miles of streets and approximately 1,150 homes with the assumption that about one-half of the households participate in recycling.  Currently, the City provides once-a-week backdoor trash and recycle pickup on Mondays and Tuesdays.  The City also has three 8-cubic yard dumpsters behind city hall that are emptied each week on M/W/F.  These are for residents to dispose of their bulk items that will not fit in regular trash receptacles, excluding mattresses, electronics, appliances, furniture, rugs, etc.
