But 6.4.9 says mileage and administrative paperwork is “included in hours of service.” Does that mean it is billable in addition to the 6 hours students are in school? In short, can billable time exceed 6 hours when required paperwork, meetings, etc. go past 6 hours?

Response: The teacher will deliver academic services. The SLP will deliver speech/ language therapy, both language and articulation, as determined by each student's IEP. The OT or PT will provide direct and consultative school based therapy as determined by each student's IEP.

Question: In section 6.4.8 It states "The school system will not be billed for services on days when students are absent from School". Does this refer to Calendar days when schools are closed and/or unplanned absenteeism's? If there is a planned therapy session and the student does not show and there was no prior warning given, can the district still be billed for that missed session?

Response: This refers to both school closings and student absenteeism. If a student is absent, the session will not be billed unless the service is later provided to the student.
