JCSS is seeking proposals from responsive and responsible vendor
to provide Viewsonic IFP7550-Gen 3 interactive flat panels with the wireless
network card and wall mount. Vendor will
be responsible for the removal of existing whiteboard, projector, projector
mount and cabling. Vendor will install
the interactive flat panels as described on the specifications page.
This contract will be for the fiscal year 2021.

Will you accept ClearTouch as an option on your Viewsonic panel bid? The hardware is nearly identical and there should not be any continuity issues.
No. We have Viewsonic panels at all of our locations currently allowing for continuity in product.

Question #1 - VIEWSONIC INTERACTIVE PANELS SPECIFICATIONS
Will there be power where the IFPs will be installed? Yes. If not, will JCSS be responsible for getting power to the IFP? Yes.
Question #2 - VIEWSONIC INTERACTIVE PANELS SPECIFICATIONS
Regarding the RJ-45 connection on the wall plate, is this to connect to IFP to make the device interactive or for connecting to network? Connection to make the panel interactive If network, will you need another Cat5 to USB connection on the wall plate to make the device interactive? Since we requested the panels come with the wireless card, we do not need a cable to connect to the network.
Question #3 - VIEWSONIC INTERACTIVE PANELS SPECIFICATIONS
What is the breakdown between number of laptops & desktops connecting to wall plates? I have no idea
Question #4 - VIEWSONIC INTERACTIVE PANELS SPECIFICATIONS
Will JCSS route all sound from laptop/desktop to the 3.5 input on wall plate up to ceiling speaker? Yes. All audio will go to ceiling speaker from teacher device. If no, there will need to be a 3.5 audio cable coming from Audio Out of the IFP to the 2nd input of the ceiling speaker.

What is the length needed for source cables going from laptop/desktop to wall plate? 6ft cables. Although we would love you to provide those cables, I don’t believe that was specified in the bid.

All equipment removed will be delivered to the Technology Office at 273 Railroad St, Gray, GA 31032.
