Question: Specs: 2. Trailer mounted generator set with double wall fuel cell to run for 24 continuous hours (Diesel). The DCA 125SSIU4F has a spill containment – Bunded design captures up to 128% of engine fluids. 3. Trailer axle weight should not exceed 80% of manufacturers maximum load. We are not sure what they mean. The TRLR125US trailer has a GVWR OF 10,000 lbs. The gross axle weight rating is 5,000 lbs. each. 10. Must include one (1) NEMA 4x ADR1034 – 100 AMP 3W4P P&S receptacle flush mounted on the rear of the generator set. What voltage output do they want from this receptacle? The output of the DCA 125 is 150 amps at 480 volts three phase.

Question: You are requesting a 500kW diesel generator for the Water Well with an 800A transfer switch. A 500kW generator output is 4 times the 800A service. do you have the hp of the motor/s so that proper sizing can be done.
Response: This will be powering a 400 hp well motor.

Question: Please clarify the scope of "installation at designated location." Is this offloading and setting in place or is the intention to be a turn-key installation with permitting, concrete work, electrical and plumbing?
Response: This will be offloading and setting in place, with a startup after all connections that the City will be providing are completed.

Question: Please clarify if a UL142 sub base tank should be included with item #1 - 500KW Diesel Standby Generator. If so, what is the size requirement? A standard tank for this unit is 24 Hours / 855gal
Response: The generator should include a fuel tank substantial in size to run a minimum of 24 hrs under full load. The typical Cummins generators we are used to usually have around a 1000 gallon tank mounted as part of the frame of the generator. This is preferred.

Response: US Motor, Model #29428 EJ, Type JUCEI, ID# B0420192258-0001R0001, 3 ph, 460 volt, 491 amp, water well motor. This motor is ran on a Schneider VFD type soft starter mounted in a Schneider control cabinet enclosure.

(due to trailer cost adder ) o Mobile units are typically designated in power levels or models listed in KVA and not KW Clarifications to support the response ? Stationary units legally cannot be used or made into mobile units due to EPA Teir 4 requirements for mobile use. ? Mobile units are required to have higher emissions standards over stationary units with a significant increase in cost ? UL2200 is not an applicable standard for mobile units
