Description: Regarding that real property located at 275 Sabal Palm Drive, Lake Placid FL 33852,
Parcel ID: C-22-36-28-A00-0030-0000 (Property) also known as Highlands County Boney Marl Pit.

Background:
The described property is currently being utilized by the County as a source of marl for Road & Bridge projects.

Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 125.35, Highlands County is seeking letters of interest related to the above referenced Property owned by the County. The County is seeking to sell the Property under the following conditions (stipulations of County use:)

• The new owner shall provide unlimited and sole excavation rights to Highlands County until all marl material has been depleted. The owner shall have no right to excavate or utilize the material on the property.
• The new owner shall allow Highlands County and its contractors to access the site at their own discretion
• The new owner shall provide Highlands County with an improved access route to the property for the duration of excavation purposes. The access route shall be a minimum of 20’ (feet) in width consisting of 8” (inches) of stabilized sub-base material and 6” (inches) of shell rock base material. The access route must be constructed to a sufficient elevation as to avoid drainage issues or flooding impacts that would hinder any vehicular or equipment transportation. Access route must be provided within 30 days of final agreement.
• The new owner shall allow the access route to be maintained per Highlands County discretion.
• The new owner shall allow Highlands County to utilize the excavation site as a designated FEMA debris site.
