Description: Dawson County Board of Commissioners on behalf of the Dawson County Parks/Recreation Department is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit sealed responses from qualified vendors for demolition, design, permitting and construction of a premier pool house facility. Detailed proposal documents are available at www.dawsoncounty.org. There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting held on site, at the current Veterans Memorial Pool House, at 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA, on June 26, 2017, at 10:30 AM. Questions in reference to the above RFP must be in writing to the Dawson County Purchasing Manager, Melissa Hawk at mhawk@dawsoncounty.org or faxed to 706-531-2728 before 1:00 p.m., June 30, 2017. All answers will be posted to website no later than by 1:00PM, EST on July 10, 2017. Addenda, where applicable, will be posted in the same manner. Sealed proposals may be delivered to 25 Justice Way, Suite 2223, Dawsonville, GA 30534 until 10:30AM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. The outside of the shipping container/envelope must be marked with the appropriate bid number and title. Immediately following the deadline the names of proposers will be recorded and read in the Administration Training Room at the above address. The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.
