JCSS is seeking proposals from responsive and responsible erate vendor who will reorganize data cabling in our network closets and provide and install replacement network switches. Reorganizing will consist of relocating and consolidating multiple patch panels, re-terminating drops into new patch panels, relabeling drops at patch panel and client side, and removing unnecessary cabling and panels.

Question: Good Afternoon- Please find our questions regarding this Solicitation formatted in the order below: ITEM DOCUMENT DATE SECTION/SHEET CONFLICT/QUESTION 1.0 21-31 Specifications 11/19/20 Cell 2D Specifies removing "Unnecessary" cabling. Please clarify what cabling would be considered Unnecessary? Are we to remove the entire cable from the patch panel to the WAO (Work area Outlet), or just neatly coil cabling in the ceiling? 2.0 Pictures 11/19/20 General With the installation of then New POE switches, could we assume that the power injectors for the WAPs or Camera will be removed? 3.0 Pictures 11/19/20 DFES MDF (Example) Will the cabling Vender be responsible for rerouting cabling from the ceiling to the racks i.e. provide conduit stub ups, regroup/Dress in cabling dropping from ceilings? 4.0 Pictures 11/19/20 GES Could you provide pictures focusing on the PP's and Switches as to get a better estimate of the cable count? 5.0 Pictures 11/19/20 GES The MDF consists of Angled patch panels, do you want to keep this type of patch panel or switch to the Flat?
