Type of Addition: Answer to Question

Overview:

In reference to the 4 sterile room doors.  Will those doors require 15 second delay egress push bars with alarms or just card readers?  Here at our airport those doors are part of the evacuation plan and require 15 second delay egress according to our ASP.  I do not know what HHH is putting in their ASP in regards to those doors.  When there is a fire alarm the doors will fail open, but if there is a shooter or other emergency where the fire alarm is tripped, passengers need a secondary exit route.

Answer:

We have a total of 4 doors:

Single Metal Doors

Card Readers ( 2 of the 4 doors have 15 second delay egress push bars on them)
