This scope of work is for the removal of four old HVAC systems and installation of four new HVAC systems. The currently installed system are as follows:

All systems must meet or exceed the following specifications:

1)     2.5-5ton systems must be at least 14 seer

2)     10ton system must be at least 11 seer

3)     R-410a Refrigerant

4)     Factory installed TXV or EEV

5)     2.5-5ton air handlers must have ECM Variable Speed Motor

6)     10ton air handler must have VFD evaporator fan motor.

7)     All condensers must have high- and low-pressure protection.

8)     All condensers must have a standalone three phase surge protection and phase monitoring.

 

Systems must be installed to meet or exceed the following specifications:

1)     All work must be permitted and inspected, all work must meet or exceed local, state and federal code that apply.

2)     All systems will have the required safeties installed per code.

3)     All smoke detectors must be reconnected to new systems to function as intended.

4)     All condenser units must be secured to either existing concrete slab or suitable concrete slab for secure mounting.

5)     All duct work must be sealed to new air handling units with tape/mastic and reinsulated with either R6 duct board or R6 duct wrap as needed.

Contractor must provide all electrical, copper, refrigerant, labor, and any other required materials to install and make systems fully operational.

Contractor is responsible for proper disposal of all equipment.

All suction lines must be insulated with a minimum of ¾” wall insulation, all joints and/or seams must be glued with appropriate contact adhesive designed for rubber tubing insulation.

All drain lines must be either reattached to existing copper drain lines or completely redone with at least schedule 40 PVC. All drain lines must be installed as per manufacture specifications.

Contractor must install Ionic Air Cleaning systems on each system (GPS, Nu-Calgon), Air cleaning system must be adequate for system tonnage.

All thermostats must be compatible to allow for proper system operation.

All work must be inspected by Escambia County Facilities Management representative and punch list items resolved before invoice is submitted for payment.

Minimum of 90-day labor/parts warranty from installation company from date of job completion.

Units must be installed to maintain all available factory warranties. All units must be registered with manufacture for all available warranties.
