Description: The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for Phase II renovations and additions to the Jackson County Animal Shelter until Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM. At that time, the sealed bids will be opened and read in the Finance Director’s Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building at 67 Athens Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. Bids received after the due date and time will not be accepted or considered.

One original and three copies of the bid must be submitted. A 5% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required if the contract is awarded.

A mandatory prebid meeting will be held at the Animal Shelter, located at 29 Galilee Church Rd, Jefferson, GA 30549, at 9:30 AM on Thursday, August 03, 2023. Interested vendors are required to attend.

Jackson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicalities or irregularities, and to award the bid based on the highest and best interest of Jackson County.
