Description: Pursuant to Section 287.055. Florida Statutes (F.S.), and Chapter 6A-2.0010, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) the Franklin County School Board (Board) is seeking Professional Architectural Design Services for New Construction - Franklin County School District Administrative Building and Alternative School.
The Board seeks the most qualified Firm to provide Professional Architectural Design Services and work with the Board’s Facilities Department to complete the project described below. Firms may provide certification or experience with the Florida Department of Education, SREF. Prospective Architectural Firms shall include their Engineering team, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF), Structural, Civil, etc. (subconsultants or on staff) to complete the scope of work.
The Board’s Facilities Department will receive and consider proposals from prospective Architectural Design Firms for the planning and design for the construction of a new Administrative Building to include classroom space for an alternative school learning setting. The proposed project is located at 1250 US Highway 98, Eastpoint, FL, 32328.
The project is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, administrative office spaces, conference/meeting rooms, a school board meeting room, storage space, staff break room, Adult Education Classroom(s) and Testing Room, and at least two Alternative School Classrooms (one middle school and one high school) with Teacher office space.

This project will be located on the consolidated school main campus at 1250 US Highway 98. 5. What would be the approximate total square footage for the entire administrative suite? Should we account for future growth as well? We are seeking a facility of approximately 10,000 square feet. No future expansions to this building are expected.

7. Are there any funding source or other stipulated deadlines for the project? No.
8. Can I please have the plans and specifications for this project? The architectural design, plans, and specifications for this project have not yet been completed.
9. Is it necessary to ask our references to re-submit their survey for the new RFQ 2025-04 is they previously emailed their survey for RFQ 2025-01 directly to you?
