Description: The District is requesting Bid Submittals from firms licensed in the state of Florida to fabricated and then install six (6) manatee screens upstream of the Burrell Dam water control structure. It is expected that the manatee screens will slide into existing slots upstream of each gate as described in the Statement of Work.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for November 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at the Burrell Lock located at 10401 Lock Road, Leesburg, Florida 34788. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to review the project area and to present questions to staff and obtain clarification on the requirements of the bid documents. For mandatory pre-bid conferences, the District will only accept bids from those firms attending the pre-bid conference.
