Response: 1. What is your current website domain URL that you want to redesign? It is listed in the RFP document. 2. What is your estimate budget for the project total for 4 years? Provide the best proposed cost for the project. 3. Which framework you want for new website design example PHP, ReactJS, Angular etc.? Propose the framework deemed best to meet the needs/goals of the RFP. 4. Do you have any specific requirement for data backup and recovery? In addition to any industry norms/standards, customer data is displayed for two years in the tax bill look up and six years in the data section. 5. Are you looking content management system for redesign? This question is unclear.

What are the top reasons that visitors come to your site, beyond looking for tax bills or receipts, either based on analytics or on domain knowledge? 2. What kind of information is the dept looking to share and post on the new website, per item 3 of the "purpose of re-design" section? 3. What are the limitations of the current site in the department's view, in terms of ease-of-use? 4. Is analytics information about the site available? Curious if you have a "hot season" where traffic is much higher and more focused, etc., amongst other things 5. Do you have an identified list of functionalities that are missing from the website currently that you'd really like to add to the new one? Thank you.

Question: The Data sub-menu under Resource Menu shows some analytics and data in tabular format, where does this data come from? What is the current setup for getting tax bill lookup?

Response: The data under Resources is provided in excel format via Dropbox to the current vendor. The other question has already been answered.

(2) This RFP mentions the desire for content to be made available in multiple languages. Is your desire for the system to store internationalized versions of the site content, or integrate a 3rd party tool such as Google Translate? If it is the former, what languages would you like content to be translated into initially?

Response: 1) Does an API currently exist for looking up paid tax receipts, and if so is there any documentation that can be shared at this time? No, this functionality does not currently exist. 2) This RFP mentions the desire for content to be made available in multiple languages. Is your desire for the system to store internationalized versions of the site content, or integrate a 3rd party tool such as Google Translate? Please propose the best option, or options, that fulfill the needs of our foreign language customers. If it is the former, what languages would you like content to be translated into initially? Please propose the best option. However, the most requested language is Spanish.

Response: As long as the work doesn’t require being on-site, we don’t have a preference.

Question: 1. Can you provide details on how data and pdfs are provided for property tax, vehicle tax, and delinquent taxes bill lookup? Is there a corresponding data file to match PIN/AIN/Name with the correct PDF? 2. Approximately how many PDF’s are provided each year? Historically, how have they been delivered to your current website provider? 3. The two latest years of bills are available on the website. Are the previous years kept on the website, or are they discarded? 4. Regarding the new tax receipt look-up feature, is there flexibility in how this data is provided? For example, can the data be specifically formatted as a comma-delimited CSV with agreed upon column structure? Or are you limited in how the data can be formatted and provided? 5. How will the receipts need to be presented? Will they be formatted as content on a webpage or do they need to be pre-formatted pdf’s? 6. The RFP states “ease of use” as one of the selection criteria? How will this be judged? Is there an opportunity for us to demo sites we’ve designed previously? 7. Why are you looking to change from your current website partner? 8. Is there anything you feel your current website partner could improve on? 9. What do you hope to accomplish by working with a new website partner? 10. Please provide a list of any 3rd party integrations you currently use or would like to integrate in the new website? 11. How would an improved website benefit your organization? 12. How do you view the role of your website in your organization? 13. What is your current monthly website budget? Is it too high, too low, or just right? 14.
