Description:

Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is searching for professional services to perform a Security Assessment and Configuration of virtual Palo Alto firewalls on our virtual environment consisting of four Nutanix servers hosting VMware and our Web, Application and Database tiers. The goal of this engagement is to ensure the security and safety of each operating tier and that the allowed traffic is properly identified, permitted, inspected, and the proper micro-segmentation is applied to protect workload-to-workload interactions between defined trust zones. Within this web farm environment, it is absolutely necessary to identify allowed/permitted connections to ensure control over lateral movement and data access from within each defined environment.

 

Escambia County already has the appropriate Palo Alto VM-500 Series licensing and virtual machine firewalls installed on each of the four Nutanix cluster nodes configured with management IP addresses. Included is a basic drawing outlining the structure of the environment.
