Description: We are requesting quotations from qualified contractors for the complete replacement/repair of the exterior siding on The City of Etowah maintenance shop located on 1231 Hwy 30 E next door to Fire Department.

The scope includes removal of existing siding, installation of new siding, soffit and trim replacement, and any necessary repairs to underlying structures.

A. The itemized cost of the project including.
o Each aspect of the project listed separately.
o Proposed products to be used in addition to product specifications.
B. Proof of Required Insurance
o Commercial General Liability – $1,000,000.00
o Worker’s Compensation – statutory limit
C. Copy of valid Business License and Full Contact information.
D. Completion of all forms included in packet,

2. Drug & Alcohol Policy
3. Title VI Compliance

Contractors may submit bids for one or more of the following siding materials:
Material Option Requirements
Vinyl Siding Minimum .044" thickness, fade-resistant, color to be selected
Fiber Cement Siding James Hardie or equivalent, primed or pre-painted, with moisture resistance
LP Smart Side Engineered wood, treated for durability, color to be selected
Comparable Product Must meet or exceed durability, warranty, & aesthetic standards
Scope of Work
• Removal and disposal of existing siding and trim
• Inspection and repair of sheathing or framing as needed
• Installation of selected siding material per manufacturer specs
• Installation of new soffit and fascia boards
• Installation of exterior trim around doors, windows, and corners
• Caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing
• Final cleanup and disposal of debris

• Estimated timeline for project completion
• Warranty information (materials and workmanship)
• Proof of insurance and contractor licensing
• References from similar projects
