General Requirements:  Kaufman County desires to enter into a one-year contract with one (1) one-year renewal option, with a fully certified, bonded, and insured electrician to provide routine electrical repairs, as needed, according to the following specifications:

 

Minimum Requirements to submit a proposal:

·         Minimum five (5) years in business as an Electrical Contractor

·         Employees must pass criminal history checks required for secured areas

·         List of references from Kaufman County

1.       Cities or other municipalities

2.       School districts

3.       County entities

4.       Hospitals

5.       Utility providers

6.       Businesses

·         Provide 24-hours per day 7-days per week response, labor and material

·         Minimum of five (5) electricians on staff with at least 1-being a Master Electrician

·         Emergency on-site response time of 2-hours or less

·         Service charges defined, use of truck, tools, not just labor

·         Breakdown of labor hourly charges for:

1.       Supervisor and/or Estimator

2.       Master Electrician

3.       Journeyman Electrician

4.       Apprentice Electrician

5.       Helper
