Description: The City of Hanahan is increasing the Wide Area Network (WAN) capacity to additional city buildings. The WAN currently provides connectivity for the remote buildings to other city buildings. The city is seeking to provide faster internet service to the remote buildings and provide a redundant internet connection to the WAN. The goal of the WAN expansion and new ISP is to mitigate the disruption of critical services due to loss of internet connectivity.

Overview: Have funds been appropriated and made available for this Contract? The City of Hanahan does not bid out services if there is no funding. If so, for how many years of performance? If not, when does the City anticipate funds being appropriated and made available? How will Offerors be so notified?
If a WAN service is to be quoted with the DIA service, may we request the preferred topology and bandwidth requirements for the WAN connectivity? I do not have an answer to this question. I will defer to our IT Dept.
The City advises an “additional consideration” for WIFI service at the Amphitheater and the 53 acre park. May we request the “floor plans” and service requirements for WIFI at the Amphitheater and 53 acre park? I do not have access to any floor plans for the Amphitheater. You may contact Building and Codes to request any information regarding the Amphitheater they may have on file. As stated in the solicitation, the 53 Acre Park is under site construction, there are no buildings to provide floor plans. At this time, it is only site construction.
May we request the latitude and longitude points for the “Hawks Nest Park: Off Williams Lane” location? I have attached a site “master plan” – You may access the state GIS website to find the latitude and longitude.
As requested, we are submitting our questions before the deadline of March 7th. Please confirm receipt of response by replying directly to this email. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. The Amphitheater and 53 Acre Park are possible sites at this time.
