Description: Sealed bids for Bell Park Drainage Improvements – Bid No.: 024-010 will be received by the City of Prattville in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location.
The project estimate is estimated to cost less than $150,000.00. The amount shown is only to provide general financial information to contractors and bonding companies concerning the project’s complexity and size. This amount should not be used in preparing a bid, nor will it have any bearing on the decision to award the contract.
The principal items of work are approximate as follows: Continuation of a large drainage pipe through Bell Park consisting of approximately 125 linear feet of 58”x36” concrete arch pipe with 4 concrete manholes and 2 grate inlets.

To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals forms made available by the Engineer. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Quest Construction Data Network at www.questcdn.com for a fee of $22.00. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Dodge Data & Analytics, Isqft and CMD Group.
For the duration of the advertisement period, a list of plan holders may be found at www.krebseng.com.
Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond.  Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
