Description: The City is soliciting bids for the purpose of contracting for a Selective timber harvest in forested natural areas in the West Jackson Street area bounded by Stringham Road, Michigan Ave, and Hinman Ave.
Harvest trees have been marked with paint by a forester, and volume estimates by species are provided. Loggers shall follow EGLE Forestry Best Management Practices for Soil & Water Quality.
Bids must submitted, on or prior to the exact time and date. Bids received by the correct time and date shall be opened virtually and the amount bid shall be publicly read. Late bids shall not be considered, and the online bid management system will automatically cut off at the exact due date/time. Please give yourself enough time to upload your bid.
