The City of Quincy is inviting the submission of sealed proposals for
the purchase and redevelopment of the following parcels of real property:
Sealed proposals for the purchase of 409 State Street will be accepted until 4:00 p.m.. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the Purchasing Department; 730 Maine Street, Suite # 226, Quincy, IL 62301. Proposal must include a purchase price. Sale of the property is conditioned upon the prompt demolition and removal of all structures. Demolition shall be completed within ninety (90) days of closing date. Highest purchase price may not be the sole determinant in City’s acceptance of a proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities. All proposals will be subject to City Council approval.
